Isabelle Chapuis is a fashion photographer; Alexis Picho pursued interior design for ten years. With Blossom, the team of artists offers us, with their respective world and knowledge, wild landscapes and sites abandoned by human activity that they capture in their process of renaturalisation.
Here, where nature is transformed and altered by the hand of man, Isabelle and Alexis’ colored clouds demonstrate the artists’ ambivalent feeling, between attraction and repulsion, seduction and apprehension. They thereby leave their pigment smoke curls to flood the spaces.
Next to Blossom, the exhibition also presents photographs coming from another series called “Dernier Souffle”. Based on the same principle as Blossom, this new work captures telephone booths in the middle of urban landscapes.
