While Southern California automobile drivers spend hours alone in their cars, motorcyclists have an immediate connection to their vehicles, the elements, and often to passersby…including those, like me, who aim their cameras at them. Because of my freeway phobia, I am always a passenger on the open road – allowing me to capture my observations of bikers at high speeds.
I’ve taught school, produced commercials and documentaries, and worked in creative screenplay development and, all the time, I was asking, “did you see that??” Now I use my camera to document the amazing things I see in the world around me – not too far away, mostly in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Palm Springs; the places where I’ve lived.
