Nossos Entes
The Nossos Entes action, carried out in 2019, highlighted the image of the traditional vaqueiro from the northeast, through an urban intervention in the city of Natal (RN). We pasted 60 images of dressed and healthy vaqueiros in public and private spaces, adopted by the guardians, responsible for preserving the figure of the vaqueiro in the urban memory. By transforming the vaqueiro into an ENTE, the action contributed to the preservation of the vaqueiro’s profession, knowledge, and way of life, as a Nordestino heritage.
After 2019, the images continue to occupy new spaces, creating forms of participation with the world, continuing the challenge of keeping alive this unique memory of Brazilian culture.
