Prelude
In my photographic narrative, I question the notion of the moment by focusing on the auratic presence and poetic character of places and ephemeral space. Unearthing the remnants of memory and space, mapping transience, passage, and transition as subjects themselves, I seek the subtle balance that simultaneously conceals and reveals, to sculpt the narrative of these places from a new perspective. My works then appear as visual sketches of places.
In my opinion, everything is inscribed in the transient space. Traces of memory and the poetry of places interact with our perception of the present in a continuum. We are defined by our memories and their traces, but also by the memory of the place itself. The poetry of the ephemeral leaves its mark like a signature.
