Opening Thursday April 26, at Bruce Silverstein Gallery in Chelsea was an exhibit of photographs by Constantin Brancusi. Despite being very familiar with Brancusi’s work as a sculptor and also knowing the photos of him and his work by Edward Steichen, I was not that aware of Brancusi’s own photographs. The photographs shown at Silverstein were collected by Bruce Silverstein himself over an extended period of time and are all original vintage prints by Brancusi.
