Last weekend, the Boutographie festival opened its doors. Founded in Montpellier (France) by the association Grain d’Image in 2001, the event want to be a way to promote the contemporary photography and support the creation. Until the beginning of June, fifteen photographers will be on view at the Pavillon Populaire.

For the edition, Marine Lupercale’s chimeras will be next to the Yakuzas captured by Anton Kusters, the ode to love by Maria-do-Mar Rêgo and the Siberia of Elena Chernyshova. The portraits by Jan Q. Maschinski has been awarded by the Prix du Jury. This year again, Delphine Burtin’s work will be on view. The photographer just won the HSBC Price 2014. With his series Killing Becher, the young Swen Renault pays tribute to the work of Bernd and Hilla Becher. A various program so, with young mature photographers.
