Romberg Arte Contemporanea was founded in the 1980s in Latina at a time when the means to promote contemporary art were still rare. A path has always led from our galleries in Latina and Rome to the promotion of young artists through individual and group exhibitions, participation in national and international fairs, and the organization and support of exhibitions in public spaces and museums.
Directed by Italo Bergantini, each year Romberg presents on average five exhibitions of Italian and foreign artists. The gallery is currently presenting work in two independent spaces, on the ground floor and the 17th floor of the Baccar skyscraper. Romberg is also active in the publication of numerous books and catalogues in which the gallery captures the exchanges between important curators and young critics.
Romberg is present for the second year in a row at the MIA Art Fair with three solo photography exhibitions by Carlo d’Orta, Svetlana Ostapovici and Giuseppe Ripa (stands 9, 10, 12).
