Byline Photo is shaped by the desire to promote and increase the market for art photography, still only considered affordable for a small niche of collectors. The works are offered in a larger limited edition and, therefore, at more accessible prices, without sacrificing quality. Both up-and-coming photographers and established professionals, some of whom exhibit at MOMA in New York and San Francisco or at the Venice Biennale, are already involved in the project. We are therefore always on the lookout for new artists with whom to share this project. The editions range from a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 50 and the minimum sale price is € 200, up to a maximum of € 1000. Each work is signed and numbered by the artist, in order to ensure exclusivity. Byline Photo wants to reach anyone who is able to appreciate a photograph and expresses the desire to make it their own: art finally accessible to all. The project, therefore, is aimed at both collectors and those who, although enthusiasts, have never had a chance to get close to art photography. No privileged genre, no prejudice but, on the contrary, total openness to everything that has an undeniable content and quality. An integral part of Byline is the “Byline Special Project”, unique art pieces for purchase on the website or at the exhibition space. To reach those who love the industry, Byline has created bylinephoto.com, a web project to popularise art photography. On the website, it will be possible to access a virtual gallery and, once the art image has been chosen, it can be purchased directly online.
Byline has also opened its own exhibition space, the Byline Room. A loft measuring 120 m² in the heart of Milan, where personal or themed exhibitions are organised. The company will develop its project in other capitals. First of all Paris and Berlin where, given the importance and growth of the photography market in these cities, special events will be organised to promote the activity.
From the 3rd to the 6th of May Byline Photo will partecipate to Milan Image Art Fair with the artist Olimpia Soheve.
