bicigi photography is a new on line gallery and agency for contemporary photography. Its aim is to support artists who use photography as their main creative medium through exhibitions, publications, commissions and the sale of their work. Its fields of interests are in both conceptual and narrative photography.
For MIA Fair 2012 bicigi photography focuses on the work of Valentina Vannicola, a 30 years old italian photographer, whose work takes inspirations from European literature: Dante’s Inferno, Cervantes Don Chisciotte, Andersen’s the Princess and the pea, Lewis Carrol Alice in Wonderland are among the projects already shot.
Besides Valentina Vannicola’s photographs bicigi photography presents a selection of works by Federico Ciamei, Simona Caleo, Simona Pampallona, Alexandra Pouzet, Lisa Santarelli and Angela Marzullo.
