Aforisma is the historical company of Piero Gemelli that is now in charge of his photos archive. Aforisma decided to open his archives at MIA in the Fashion Fine Art Hall reserved to fashion photography, showingt 40 prints, most of them vintage, and several polaroid 20 x 25 cm and 8 x 11 cm. Piero Gemelli mostly shot in BW negative film and color slide ( 6×6 and 20×25) , most of the vintage is BW print and modern prints are color . Piero Gemelli is architect and photographer. In 1987 he opened his own studio in Milan and began to work between USA and Europe with some of the most important fashion magazines and with International Vogue/ Condé Nast editions, creating advertising campaigns and images for prestigious international brands. Gemelli has been invited to take part in many exhibitions in Italy and in Europe. Today Gemelli also works as creative director, as well as being involved in design and furniture projects, and keep is own artistic production of photographs and graphic art.
