THE PORTFOLIO PARADE by Erik Kessels
Now in its third edition, this contemporary photography award is dedicated to supporting emerging artists. Following a global open call that drew entries from around the world, Erik Kessels has curated an eclectic and extensive selection of portfolios.
The selected works will be showcased during MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas (March 19–22, 2026) at Superstudio Più in Milan. Organized in collaboration with Fujifilm Italia, this group exhibition aims to challenge traditional display formats, inviting visitors to experience photography in unconventional ways.
With a specific focus on the art market and the world of collecting, The Portfolio Parade highlights the vital need to promote new perspectives within an ever-evolving landscape. Here are the prize finalists:

Finalists will have the opportunity to be selected for two Collateral Awards:
– Publication of the selected artist’s portfolio in the magazine “Gente di Fotografia”, which will be released in conjunction with the fifteenth edition of MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas. The artist will be selected by the magazine’s Director, Franco Carlisi.
– Free participation in the Artist Residency at “SARP/ Sicily Artist Residency Program” in Linguaglossa (Catania).
IRINOX Save The Food
Feeding the Image
Supported by Irinox S.p.A. – Società Benefit and curated for its fifth edition by Claudio Composti, the IRINOX Save The Food Award was established to celebrate photographers who use the medium in all its forms to explore food as a symbolic, cultural, and social element.
The jury, comprising Katia Da Ros (Vice President of Irinox), Claudio Composti (Curator), and Emanuela Mazzonis (Curator), has selected the finalists for the 2026 edition:

One of the showcased works will be selected to join the IRINOX Corporate Collection through the IRINOX PURCHASE AWARD, with a value of €5,000 gross, enriching Irinox’s dedication to photography.
Furthermore, thanks to the partnership with Yeast Photo Festival, one of the 15 finalists will be chosen for the fourth edition of the Yeast Prize. The winner will be featured in a solo exhibition curated by Artistic Director Edda Fahrenhorst during the fifth edition of the Yeast Photo Festival, taking place this September in Matino (Lecce).
Superstudio Photo Award
The inaugural Superstudio Photo Award is born from a collaboration between MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas and Superstudio, with FUJIFILM as official Sponsor.
The award, open to students aged 18 to 28, is designed to champion young talent and support their transition into the professional world. In a tribute to Oliviero Toscani, the Superstudio Photo Award seeks to celebrate his creative freedom and his revolutionary vision of photography.
The Jury, composed by Gisella Borioli (President and Founder of Superstudio Group), Francesca Malgara (Director of MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas), Lola Toscani (Oliviero Toscani Studio), Nicolas Ballario (Curator and Journalist), Toni Thorimbert (Photographer), and Pier Paolo Pitacco (Art Director), has selected the following finalists, whose work will be showcased in a dedicated exhibition during the fair:

At the conclusion of the event, one of the winners will be selected by both the visitors and the technical jury to take part in a personalized professional photo shoot. Produced by the Superstudio Set and E-Photo teams, the shoot will take place at the iconic Superstudio 13 studios on via Forcella in Milan.
