“I spent the night at the Belle Juliette in winter 2013. The hotel was a hundred yards from my apartment. Jeremy came to join me. We spent the night in the room named ‘Fougue et sérénité.’ This photograph wasn’t shot using my normal work process and is more the result of the moment than a staged scene.”
