The 2017 edition of the Lianzhou Photo Festival, held from December 2, 2017 to January 2, 2018, mainly focused on the selfie and looked at how social networks have changed photography. Among the works presented were Zhang Kechun’s series of Chinese mountains and rivers; Teng Fei’s pictures of moments captured with his cell phone camera in his daily life over the last ten years; Tan Qiumin’s Gaojingnong, a special street in Lishui City, Zhejiang Province; Shang Liang’s One Thousand Self-portraits; and Sun Yanchu’s altered images of photos taken by Chinese people in the 1970s or 80s.
