For the third edition of the prize, the Prix POP CAP is exhibiting the work of its five winners from different countries at several international events Art Basel, the Festival Photo Ireland in Dublin and the Festival International de Photographie in Cape Verde and the Addis Fotofest in Ethiopia.
This year the winners are: Joana Choumali (Côte d’Ivoire) and her series Hââbré, The last generation (2013), Ilan Godfrey’s (South Africa) Legacy of the Mine (2011-2013), Léonard Pongo’s (Belgium) The Uncanny (2013), Patrick Willocq’s (France) I am Walé Respect Me (2013) and the duo Anoek Steketee & Eefje Blankevoort’s (Holland-Canada) Love Radio project.
