Larry Fink has just released a new book, The Beats. Here are some pictures and the text he wanted to share with us. The group depicted here, while essentially non-hierarchical, was all clustered around the main protagonist, Turk le Clai magnetic and anarchist. Turk had a credo, "If you want nothing you get everything". I wanted a little bit more than that, so over the years I amassed a biography that reads professor at Yale University, professor of photography at Bard College, and Guggenheim Fellow.
