In 2000 I discovered Japan and these pixels that hide sex and hair system. To sublimate the desire in pornographic films, pixelation filled the screen giving a beautiful and incoherent image. Today, in the era of social networks censorship is omnipresent, the nude is censored, the least nipple is erased and the woman must be beautiful, always more beautiful, giving an image, perfect illusion of beauty impossible to obtain . In collaboration with the models, these women posing do not hide anything. They are there in front of me, they hide nothing and I do not hide anything. No digital editing, they show their privacy, look at the lens and seems to say “it’s me … and then”. In these photos I intervene mechanically, I add, I braid and the image shifts, deforms, erases reality, increases distances, recedes the moment of truth where the forbidden becomes sublime and the image unique.
