The Boikos are a strange community that can be found throughout the Carpathian range, in Ukraine. They are a little quiet. Unable to speak for themselves. Polish photographer Jan Brykczyński has captured the beauty of these people from out of time in their daily life during winter and spring. Some images are not far from Flemish paintings of the 16th century.
