The International Center of Photography (ICP) has just announced its annual Infinity Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The institution will recognize seven honorees including David Goldblatt for Lifetime Achievement at the gala event on Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, in New York City. Celebrated at ICP’s largest annual fundraiser, the Infinity Awards are respected as one of the leading honors for excellence in the field of photography. ICP's Infinity Awards were inaugurated in 1985 to bring public attention to outstanding achievements in photography by honoring individuals with distinguished careers in the field and by identifying future luminaries. The awards ceremony is ICP's primary fund-raising benefit, and the revenues generated assist the full range of ICP's programs, including exhibitions, collections, community outreach, and the School at ICP.
