“Stéphanie de Monaco and Anthony Delon spent the day at the beach.” The news hit on Wednesday, August 1st at six o’clock in the evening. Nobody paid any attention to it. In three days it would become the story of the summer, a mad detective novel, but at the time it only struck five people. Four photographers, including one who was present, said that very night, “Anthony is only there for Stéphanie and he’ll have his way.”
