On my way to the Festival of Photography in Arles, I stopped in Avignon and discovered the artistic nudes of the Franco-English photographer David Austin with his series called “The Ladies”, “Venus”, “Sirènes” or the abundant “fresco” named “Mikado”. Made between 2012 and 2025, these photos are always in search of beauty and elegance with sometimes a hint of humor and all are made without the use of AI with real models, be it in the studio or in the pool. The main research of this photographer is aesthetics.
