Galerie Roger-Viollet presents its new exhibition Zaramo/Kwere/Kuba/Makonde.
A trip to Central Africa, where objects from the Lipoboska collection interact with photos from the Roger-Viollet collection. Kuba fabrics, Zaramo and Kwéré dolls, Makonde masks, dating from the middle of the 20th century, are confronted with beginning of the twentieth century portraits of women and men populating Tanzania, Congo and Zaire.
Exhibited by the Galerie Roger-Viollet for the first time, the modern photographic prints on Baryté 315 g paper are offered in a limited and numbered edition.
