From October 2 to 15, 2025, Galerie Basia Embiricos will host the Emmanuelle Bousquet monographic exhibition. Through a selection of prints from three emblematic series, Muses, Sens Obscurs, and Haute Couture, the exhibition reveals an artist who tirelessly questions the metamorphoses of the body, the rituals of femininity, and the poetic power of vulnerability.
A photographer of the sensitive and inner silence, Emmanuelle Bousquet has been building a deep body of work for over fifteen years, in which the female body becomes both subject and medium of expression. Between self-portraiture and staging, visual art, performance, and artisanal practices, her work explores the thresholds of the visible, the intimate, and the symbolic. Heir to a couture expertise passed down since childhood in the lineage of the Cacharel family she weaves her images as one gathers a fragmented memory, between pain, concern, and resilience.
