Françoise Huguier’s world is dense. She draws inspiration from around the globe, and her attraction to strangeness can be felt throughout her work. A cinephile, she has been influenced by the work of Andrei Tarkovsky, Jim Jarmusch and Satyajit Ray, whom she met and photographed on several occasions in Calcutta.
