I’ve grown up used to being alone living in an isolated village in southern Brazil. Loneliness often becomes a heavy burden and it’s necessary to find a way to put out all my feelings. I’m not good at expressing my feelings in words and I found in Photography the best way of expression. My self-portraits are a representation of my way of seeing my life, a way of self-acceptance as well. As a look inside of myself asking “Who am I?”, I look for the answers through Photography. My photographs are black and white inspired by my love and appreciation for Silent Cinema. This series is a representation of the movements of my soul transmitted in a kind of intense isolation.
