Festival RussenKo 2015 : Le Dégel, Russie (1950 – 1965)

For its 6th edition, the RussenKo festival of Russian Language and Culture has joined forces with the Multimedia Art Museum of Moscow (MAMM) and its director, Olga Sviblova, for the group exhibition Le Dégel, Russie (1950-1965), featuring the work of Vladimir Lagrange, Viktor Akhlomov, Dmitri Baltermants, Valéry Guendé-Rote, Evgueny Khaldey, Lev Borodulin, Vladislav Mikosha and Vsevolod Tarasevich, eight major Russian and Soviet photographers who documented the region as the suffocating atmosphere of the revolutions and war began to subside. This was the famous “Khrushchev thaw.” The exhibition runs from January 9th through February 1st, 2015.
