The 17th edition of the NICEPHORE+ International Photography Festival opens its doors to the public until October 26 in Clermont-Ferrand.
Another look at fashion photography is presented as follows by Patrick Ehme, artistic director of the festival:
For many “purists”, fashion photography is, at most, only “illustration”. This on the pretext that it responds to an order with a utilitarian, mercantile and consumerist purpose… And yet!
It turns out, and has often shown, to be an infinite space of expression and creation. (…)
