Photography Award Initial Labo Presents Three Photography Contest

The Prix Photo Alliance Française is launching with BnF and Initial LABO the new Prix “Résidence en France” for Brazilian photographers, whose theme in 2024 is (En) mouvement.
This prize is for photographers of Brazilian nationality.

The prize is endowed with :
– a grant of €6,000,
– accommodation in Paris,
– a return ticket,
– an exhibition,
– entry of a series of photographs into the BnF collection.

Prize supported by the Brazilian Embassy in France and the French Embassy in Brazil.

• Fondation des Treilles “Résidence pour la photographie” and “Prix Escourbiac-Fondation des Treilles” awards
  Two photographic residencies are offered around the theme of the Mediterranean.

The “Résidence pour la photographie de la Fondation des Treilles” prize: a creative and production residency in which the photographer makes his or her own prints in the laboratories (digital or silver) installed on the estate;

“The Escourbiac – Fondation des Treilles prize: which supports the publication of a photographic book with the help of Escourbiac l’Imprimeur.

Initial LABO displays the work of the year’s residents in a custom-designed scenography. At the opening of the exhibition, the Fondation des Treilles will unveil the following year’s winners and their portfolios.

• Herez Corpo Award “Reinvent the family and the entrepreneur”.

A creative wind is blowing through corporate photography!
Since 2022, Maison Herez has been encouraging creativity in the business world through the Prix Herez Corpo. To enrich and broaden this initiative, the company, under the impetus of Frédéric Blanc, has launched a collaboration with Initial LABO and Process Magazine, which will unveil, among other things, a special edition in Arles. The winner’s work will also be honored at an exhibition organized at Initial LABO, and will continue at Maison Herez headquarters.

Increased visibility for the winners selected by a jury of excellence, chaired this year by photographer Valérie Belin.

The prize includes :
– a €6,000 grant, which includes the rights to use the photos and the inclusion of two photos in the Herez collection (production costs paid by Herez).
– an exhibition
– publication in Process magazine.
