Getty Images launched a new photography grant , called the Getty Images Grant for Creativity. This prize supports young photographic creation. Only candidates under thirty years-old, or with a photographic work experience under three years of age will be eligible to apply. They can receive up to $ 10,000 per term.
Each term, three winners will be selected by a jury. Candidates can propose “revolutionary conceptual cliché to creative portrait, passing by photos of illustration“. Led notably by Anne Boussarie, General Manager of Getty Images, the stock exchange was a long-time project finally realized by the photographic agency. “This new scholarship is our own dream project: we are committed to supporting and encouraging photographic talent, and we look forward to working with a motley group of new young photographers and helping them realize their creative vision,” as she precised.
The jury will include Andy Saunders (Vice President, Getty Images), Andy Adams (photographer and publisher, Flak Photo), Jeanie Annan-Lewin (founder of Moodboard Zine), Andrea Wise (co-founder of Diversify Photo) and Brent Lewis (photo editor, ESPN and co-founder of Diversify Photo).
