Final deadline for entries to the 14th CEWE Photo Award.
An invitation to capture the beauty of the world – Over €250,000 in prizes up for grabs
Photography professionals and enthusiasts have until 31 May to submit their photos to take part in the CEWE Photo Award! Created by Europe’s leading photo printing company CEWE, over the years this competition has become the biggest photo competition in the world, both in terms of the number of photos submitted and the quality of the works. This international event celebrates the art of photography in all its diversity. The 2025 edition is organised around 10 thematic categories – ranging from nature to urban photography, gastronomy, sport and human encounters.
A competition open to everyone, everywhere in the world
With over 500,000 photos submitted last year by participants from more than 140 countries, the CEWE Photo Competition has confirmed its global reach and its power to unite people around a common passion: photography.
‘Each photo tells a unique story,’ says Laurence Courtinat-Vernon, President of CEWE France. This competition is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the creativity and sensitivity of everyone, whatever their level or equipment.
Exceptional rewards and a new prize dedicated to young people
Participants have until 31 May to submit their entries free of charge (www.cewe.fr/concours-photo). At stake: over €250,000 in prizes including high-tech photo equipment, trips, unique experiences with members of the jury and CEWE vouchers. The Grand Prize: an exceptional trip worth €10,000, a helicopter flight with George Steinmetz, photo equipment worth €5,000 and a CEWE voucher worth €2,500.
A new feature of the 2024-2025 edition is the creation of a new prize to reveal the talent of young photographers aged between 16 and 25. The prizes include a trip worth €5,000, a voucher for photographic equipment worth €2,500 and a voucher for CEWE photo products worth €1,000.
A commitment to ethics and solidarity
True to its values, CEWE is also donating 10 euro cents to SOS Children’s Villages International for each photo submitted, a charity it has been supporting for many years.
