European press review by Michel Philippot

The last week of winter. The photo production of the last 7 days have nothing to move me, the sad gesture of a dictator as ridiculous as he is dangerous; the indecent staging of a pregnant woman whose only problem is to know wether her womb carries a boy or a girl; workers that will no longer have a job ; a happy pope he loves the poors and there are so many of them.
Only a picture of Norman Parkinson gives me joy.

Happily I have joyous souvenirs 45 years ago a group of girls and boys seriously happy, severely serious took over the council room of the University of Nanterre it was March 1968.
Since then photography has not changed history, the quality of some pictures, the large number of others may have radicalised people but also forgot to make them change.
That’s a debate, a practice we used with happiness in olden days far from intellectual orthodoxy.
Be warned it is spring.
