Erwin Blumenfeld’s Unpublished Works

Preview

La Cité de la Mode et du Design in Paris is revisiting the Studio Blumenfeld : New-York 1941-1960 exhibition by curators Nadia Blumenfeld Charbit and François Cheval through an inner and outer path created by architect and set designer Vasken Yéghiayan.

Uncovering close to 200 works, thirty of which are previously unseen, this exhibition shows the relationship Erwin Blumenfeld had with the beauty and fashion press like Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Look, Life, and Cosmopolitan, as well as the relationship he maintained with advertising. The exhibition invites you to explore the artistic progression of this photography genius, who never stopped experimenting.

Erwin Blumenfeld’s unpublished works can be seen exclusively in today’s edition of The Eye.
