My photo and photo life began around 14, one Christmas when I had asked for a very simple “photo box”, but with a bulb flash of which I was proud.
My father was really not a fan of these family portraits, in general during my views in nature walks, he turned his back on the camera saying that the most important thing was not him but the landscape. It must be said that he was also a professor of geography. My life as a photographer went like this, until I retired from work and I continue to live with photography. What surprised me is my fame coming from my images of dishes scrounged here and there. It is both out of the French’s passion for gastronomy, but also my desire for a beautiful image added to a spirituality. I’m the originator of a hot melon recipe. I appreciate the original research of restaurants encountered during our trips on the N7 with my parents. A small road as we said in those days. Street food is a strength if it knows how to organize itself well. I defend regionalism like the hamburger. We have to live together these days! So I know how to value other people’s cooking through my culinary encounters, which take place in the present. I don’t repeat my grandmother’s recipes, that’s how it is, but I have kept my mother’s cooking intuitions. Bon appetit in photography!
