Cunard, the luxury cruise line, celebrates 100 years of circumnavigation today. On this occasion, it has partnered with British photographer and documentary film maker Mary McCartney as part of an exceptional exhibition called “Sea Views” retracing a century of magical moments. Never-before-seen images from the Cunard archives, as well as a selection of personal photos of passengers taken over the decades, will be presented at the end of February 2023.
This exhibition aims to capture the essence and atmosphere of life on board ships in the Cunard fleet, from the 1920s to the present day and to highlight the evolution of styles, from fashion to gastronomy, to interior decoration and activities, while telling the story of the ships and their passengers. World-famous passengers include Hollywood icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Bing Crosby, whose never-before-seen photos will be revealed by the company, which will open its archives to illustrate a century of glamorous journeys and stories that have made the fame of Cunard.
