Suspended times
Series produced with a camera obscura (pinhole).
The image is cobbled together with cut pieces of negatives and tape.
The incidents are part of the final image: traces of tape, inscriptions on the edge of the film, fingerprints.
These are impressions both literally and figuratively.
Looking at these photographs a feeling of timelessness emerges. The spectator finds himself the sole writer of each scene. A setting, characters waiting, we have the impression that they are motionless waiting for the word “action”.
Assuming chance which is the master of my images, this mode of representation is the one that I chose to question myself about visual perception and the photographic act.
