Showing Friends’ rooms, and the pictures of 10/1 (an anthropological look at utilitarian housing) was a risk for Romanian Cutural Center of Paris’ courageous director, Katia Danila.
These pictures of Romanian daily life are above all dignified, simple, non-ostentatious pictures of people posing, peacefully, without effect. A trip towards a world not so far from our own, and perhaps, of our future.
