If we no longer count the publications devoted to the images of the French photographer Bernard Plossu, it is indeed the first time they are the subject of a map! Yet if there is an object familiar to this indefatigable traveler (besides his legendary Nikkormat) it is indeed the road map. During his many stays in the Portuguese capital – “we do not put dates, it’s more poetic”, he explains – the 32 photographs gathered here give an intimate and moving portrait of this city he loves so much. A text from his old accomplice, the journalist Alain Bergala, accompanies the images.
