Botanic is the work of Benoit Fougerol on a small piece of land north of Paris above the airport of Le Bourget and the A1 highway. Roma families had settled there before they were expulsed. Through the season the plants took over. The space witnessed a slow process of erasing and covering the drama. Botanic is as much a topographic representation as that of an herbarium a collection of survival plants.
