There is no photography without light. But light was absent for the opening of the eleventh edition of BA PHOTO.
Indeed, a 48-hour power outage plunged the chic district of Buenos Aires, Recoleta, into darkness, forcing the organizers to shift the date of the opening from Wednesday to Thursday night.
Much more would have been necessary to discourage the organizers of the photography festival in Buenos Aires.
Equipped with a generator and eco-lamps giving a nice atmosphere, “fiat lux!”, the kickoff of BA PHOTO was given at 7 p.m. at the cultural center of la Recoleta under the applause of guests and to the relief of the organizers.
