In the superb Hôtel de la Lauzière—an iconic Arles residence, listed as a Historic Monument and exceptionally open to the public before a major renovation—French-Vietnamese photographer Nhu Xuan Hua presents a new series combining family archives and recent portraits of her muses and friends. Inspired by modern Vietnamese art and Taiwanese cinema, this intimate and striking exhibition marks the exceptional pre-opening of this venue, which has remained intact since the 1970s—with its 1960s wallpaper and the atmosphere of a house frozen in time—and is destined to become a new cultural platform dedicated to contemporary creation, exchanges, and residencies.
Exhibition presented by Galerie Anne-Laure Buffard in partnership with Vuitton Editions from July 9 to October 5, 2025, as a special pre-opening of the Hôtel de la Lauzière.
