Arles 2020 day to day by Thierry Maindrault.
In a small corner of “Galerie Huit“, a collection of minimalist works by Andreï Farcasanu is gathered.
Andreï Farcasanu is a Romanian photographer, graduated from the National University of Arts in Bucharest. He works in Barcelona, Spain, mainly in black and white analog photography, his small size prints are made by hand. His works are directed towards intimate pictorial images focused on the importance of the smallest details under the eyes of readers.
In our time of unbridled gigantism which is allowed by technological evolution, this creator filled with a true graphic culture remains cool and brings each of us back to the rhythm of the realities of life.
“Timeless Interventions” is a part of Andreï’s creative evolution. This series of lithographic prints – of great fineness – takes us back in time of Asian calligraphic cultures that he would revisit. The time for reflection, for dreaming, then the time when the imagination comes back to us for a too short period.
