In just a few years, the city of Arles has become a dream destination, an Eldorado of artists and galleries. This dramatic transformation of the cultural landscape, carried by the major projects of the Luma Foundation, the relocation of the National School of Photography and the remarkable evolution of the Rencontres d’Arles .
In this maelstrom of good news, Voies Off has chosen to play the collective against the individual, the federation of energy rather than isolationism. For several years we have wanted to propose our own programming, but also to support, encourage and sustain all the independent projects whose numbers are growing at the Voies Off Festival. We are working in concert with the Festival, in order to contribute to the harmonious development of the city of Arles.
The Cour de l’Archevêché has become a sounding board for these projects.
