It’s also the season when exhibitions, projections and other activities pop up throughout Amman, the capital of the Hashemite kingdom. For the third year in a row, Amman is celebrating photography throughout March with the Image Festival. Created by the French Institute in partnership with the gallery Darat Al Tasweer, the Greater Amman Municipality and, for the first time, the Rencontres d’Arles, the Image Festival is one of the most important photography events in the Arab world.
