Alfons G. Jacob –Vienna Master Courses

Preview

“Schloss Laudon”, a magnificent Baroque water castle at the outskirts of Vienna, first mentioned in the 12th Century, was owned since 1776 by Field Marshall Gideon von Laudon, an enthusiastic patron of the arts and sciences, is the venue for the “Vienna Master Courses”.

The utmost perfection in many different disciplines offered since 1975 to young exceptionally talented musicians is what the “Vienna Master Courses” are determined to achieve. What this institution and their internationally acclaimed teachers and leading artists are offering to young performers from all over the world was equally inspiring for my very spontaneous and improvised shooting of the artists as the outstanding scenery of the event at “Schloss Laudon”, surrounded by a pond and a beautiful park at the outskirts of the city.

The enclosed Photographs shall reflect a glimpse of my impressions of the final piano performance at the public concert of Stephan Möller’s master class and the Baroque water castle alike.

My name is Alfons G. Jacob, born 1945 in Merano, currently living in Vienna and working as an independent photographer since more than forty-five years.
