Alexandra Vainshtein –Girl in Rome

Recently, I had a pleasure of having my family accompany me to Rome, the Eternal City, where I went for a Special Project Photography Shoot. Between my assignments, I took the opportunity to photograph my baby girl against wonderful backdrop and scenery that is the glory and grandeur of Rome. As I snapped my photos, I began to realize there was an extraordinary interaction and connection between this little girl and the Eternal City itself. Through the medium of the delicate, fragile and even vulnerable girl the Eternal City seemed grand, complex and immense. And yet, both required gentle treatment and devoted uncompromising attention, affection and support. While the two stood in a stark contrast, they had so much in common. Both needed to be nurtured, their innocence preserved, their beauty embraced and their potential fulfilled.
