Von Lintel Gallery participates in The Photography Show presented by AIPAD at the Park Avenue Armory in New York, April 22 – 26, 2026, presenting five radically different approaches to photography in Booth A20.
Each of these five artists, Lucia Engstrom, Bahar Kural, Carolyn Marks Blackwood, Osceola Refetoff and Melanie Willhide, work with photography in a different way, thereby dispelling the notion of the photographic image as an objective representation of reality.
This notion that photography is objective and easily reproducible is commonplace in today’s digital, networked world, but these artists dispute this by creating incredible and unique work, each utilizing their own techniques and processes.
