From 1946 to 1980, Dominique Darbois, a photojournalist, resistance fighter, and anti-colonialist, traveled the world documenting remote civilizations, their customs, and their children. She published twenty books in the “Children of the World” series, published by Fernand Nathan between 1952 and 1978. Her photographs have been distributed by the Roger-Viollet agency since 2024.
