It was the most wonderful and unexpected Christmas gift we could have asked for: L’Oeil de la Photographie has been nominated for an Infinity Award from the ICP (International Center of Photography), to be held April 28th in New York. The Infinity Awards are the Oscars of photography. We are in the category Publication 2013. Although the nomination is in my name, it honors the work of the entire team at L’Oeil de la Photographie. I don’t know who the other three nominees are or the name of the members of the jury, but it’s sure to be a great time. After these difficult months, it’s wonderful to be recognized after only three years. I’ve always loved that saying by Paul Claudel : “ Although the worst may never happen.”
