Until April 8, Arnaud Adida presents a tribute to Patrick Demarchelier in his gallery. He accompanied it with these few sentences:
On March 31, 2022, a great French artist left us following a long illness: Patrick Demarchelier.
I consider him the greatest French fashion photographer of all time.
Many of his photos have become world famous icons, not to mention his regular collaborations with the biggest luxury brands in the world.
Multi-faceted photographer Patrick liked to photograph his fellow human beings: people! Portraiture. Of fashion. Naked. The human…always the human at the center of his work.
This 4th exhibition at A.galerie of the star of the photo, is unfortunately a tribute exhibition, and the star will not be with us this time.
For the occasion, I decided to show about thirty images never exhibited at the gallery, mainly portraits of women, intense and intimate.
The exhibition is called “Remembering” and will last until April 8th.
