Fukushima
Éric Rechsteiner / Sha-dô
The Japanese have always known how to come to terms with the unpredictable and violent forces of nature that have shaped their sensitivity for centuries. Earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons and volcanic eruptions that are very common in the archipelago, are considered an integral part of their existence. The nuclear accident of Fukushima is of a completely different nature. It is the deadly science of humans that is cruelly taking the country back to the ghosts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I saw nothing at Fukushima – Eric Chevillard
Upon the water lily
A strange tadpole
Fukushima
The cherry blossom
fell and stunned me
Fukushima
Morning mist
Still here at dusk
