From the 2nd to the 29th of february, the Centre culturel français d’Alger (French Cultural Center of Algiers) will exhibit the work of Yves Jeanmougin, a Marseille-based photographer with many connections to the Maghreb. Although born in Casablanca, which served as one of Jeanmougin’s subjects, his family has roots in Algeria and the country remains dear to him.
“For the past twenty-five years, Yves Jeanmougin has trained his lens on Marseille, creating one of the most original bodies of work on Southern France.”
